Another group paintout in the spring at a farm outside of Geneva, NY called Iris Gardens. The fields of iris and peonies were tempting to paint, but then I saw closer to the house on the hill the manicured shade gardens designed to whet your appetite to buy more. The old shed, possibly an old milk house was so charming I decided on the spot to set up there. The sky so blue, the winding vine, and the iris at the entry, combined with the worn red wood, love it.
